A tyhoon approuches from the southest. The calm before the storm makes for a glorius sunset. Soon the sun will be blocked out and the winds and rain will replace it. The sky opened up in color and silence, as if the world paused to breathe. The clouds burned gold and violet, wrapping around the fading sun like a living painting. Standing there, watching the light shift and spill across the ocean, it felt less like witnessing a sunset and more like being part of something sacred. Moments like this remind me why I pick up a camera, to hold onto the fleeting, to remember how it felt to stand in the presence of something larger than myself.

<br />
A lone horse stands in a vast meadow, its silhouette framed against the towering cliffs of Kolob Canyon. Above, storm clouds gather, their darkened forms contrasting with the golden light that still lingers on the landscape. The scene captures the raw, untamed beauty of nature, its unpredictability, power, and serenity intertwined. The horse, a creature shaped by both human companionship and the call of the wild, serves as a bridge between the natural world and humankind. It stands as a reminder of our deep-rooted connection to the land, to the rhythms of the earth that move beyond our control. Just as the storm looms in the distance, a symbol of nature’s force and renewal, we too are shaped by its elements, resilient, adaptable, and forever intertwined with the wild around us.
